Following the restructuring of the organisation in line with the Letter of Authority for Appointment No. K7/2019 dated 8 April 2019, Finance and Accounts Section which was previously placed under the Management Services Division was upgraded into its own Division (Finance Management) with the main function to manage and carry out duties involving CAAM’s finance and accounting operations.
Implementation of finance and accounting policies and regulations as prescribed by CAAM;
Implement and supervise the financial affairs of CAAM;
Prepare, coordinate and manage CAAM’s yearly budget estimation.
Administer CAAM’s fund including the collection and distribution of funds to Regional and Divisional Offices;
Manage revenues / account receivables;
Manage payments / account payables;
Administering the expenditures of petty cash;
Prepare CAAM’s annual financial statement and tax return;
Responsible for formulating financial procedures for the implementation of CAAM programs and activities; and
Review and maintenance of financial documents including all financial vouchers for auditing and tax purposes.
